Melamine in CCTV Industry

The other day I was taken aback by a prospect saying all CCTV man ( and woman I presume) are like lawyers, hell is where they belong. Pretty obvious she had vary bad experiences with her CCTV deployment.

CCTV system is a vary sophisticated & complicated system which required the mastering of many disciplines & crafts like cctv, electronic, audio visual, IT, networking, telecommunication and sometimes even civil engineering and carpentry.

Like melamine in the milk and food industry and Collateralized Debt Obligations in the financial world, we at PocketCCTV had identified 5 types of melamine in our CCTV industry.

a) Counter-faith pirated DVR hardware, software & substandard camera & gear.

b) Parallel-imported equipment with no after sale service and warranty.

c) Incompetent & Inexperienced CCTV consultant & Installer.

d) Substandard supporting gear like the PC, router, cable, connector etc.

e) Over-promised but slow broadband speed & poor coverage of 3G services.

As long as we have the above stated melamine in our CCTV industry we will be forever cursed and looked down by those unwary melamine-tainted CCTV victims.
