A customer came to us to get a Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) for his newly deployed CCTV system. He said his shop was broken into during a 25 minutes black out.

Time and again I had advised my customer when it comes to CCTV system, it is better safe than sorry.



To me UPS, Power Surge Protector, Network Attached Storage are like fire insurance policy. They are definitely worth looking into but it is hard to convince a customer to invest as those gear are redundant when nothing happen.
